Artist Statement
Since the year 2000, I have created abstract prints, mixed media, and photographs where the emergence of organic forms and
intense color combinations result from my ongoing experimentation with various textures, techniques, self-made plastic
mixtures, and computers. I work to convey movement and depth within simple designs, interested in the organic nature of
imperfection and chaos. Currently, I explore how color is charged with meaning, painting figments with varied levels of
connection to reality. We are surrounded by beauty and art, we just need to pause and observe to capture it.
